Winter Crisis 2024 is coming
Winter in Toledo shows us some of the harshest weather of the year. It's during these nights that we open our doors, providing food, showers, laundry, and a warm place to sleep, each night to those in need of shelter.
Your monetary donations to the Winter Crisis program allow us to provide approx. 3600 beds throughout the season. We are able to save lives, impact our community, and continue the mission of SPCC Toledo.
Upcoming Events
SPCC Toledo is proud to serve the community all year long. Our doors are open 24/7, 365 days a years with programs like daily community lunch, free laundry and showering facilities, and rapid rehousing services.
Check out our events calendar for more information on special events in addition to the year round programs we offer on-site and in the community.

Our Services
-
Social Services
We help our clients get back to work, guide them to access benefits and health care and move them into their own homes.
-
Payee Program
Our Representative Payee Program provides financial management for more than 600 individuals in Lucas County who live independently with mental and/or physical disabilities.
-
Navigator/Housing Stability Manager
It’s our belief that no man or woman should be left behind. Our Navigator / Housing Stability Manager (HSM) seeks homeless individuals and helps them access resources. We remain connected with individuals until their housing situation has stabilized and they have achieved self-sufficiency.
-
Winter Crisis Program
Our Winter Crisis Program opens the shelter doors on the coldest nights of the year. Without this program, many area homeless individuals would have nowhere else to go.
Donations of food, winter clothing, personal hygiene items, socks and underclothes are accepted to help with the Winter Crisis Program.
-
The Shelter
Our Shelter program provides more than 12,000 nights of shelter to the homeless each year. 90% of shelter residents are severely and persistently mentally ill.
Beyond food, shelter and basic needs, we also provide case management focused on permanent housing solutions and guidance on how to navigate community resources.
-
The Mail Program
Obtaining vital documents is near impossible without an address to have mail sent to. SPCC Toledo allows clients and non-clients have their vital documents, like social security cards, birth certificates, SSI, and more sent to our facility until a more permanent address can be established.
